Education, Lifestart Family Visitation & Young Parent Support

FINANCE MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Finance Manager will be part of the senior management in Lifestyle
working directly with, and being responsible to, the Managing
Director.

Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to MD /
Board of Directors, to enable the company leaders to make sound
business decisions and meet the objectives of the company and the
charity.

Maintain the financial health of the organisation. Conduct reviews and
evaluations of the finances, manage, guide and lead employees to
ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

This is a hands-on role which will require the candidate to engage at
all levels of work including book-keeping and weekly payroll.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Well organized with good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
.
* Work effectively with staff and funding agencies.
* Proactive, self-motivated and willing to assume responsibility.
* Organize tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage
multiple tasks.
* Demonstrate good judgment and good problem-solving skills.
* Respond appropriately to evaluation and changes in the work
setting.

Candidates should have at least three years’ experience in finance
management in a leadership role and an understanding of not for profit
accounting; IT literacy to include Excel, Word, payroll and accounts
software (an advantage) and superb attention to detail.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* third level qualification in finance, accounting, business or
related field.
* A minimum of three years’ experience in not for profit
accounting.
* Experience in managing public finances or not for profit funds.
* Outstanding client service, communication and organizational
skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively internally and externally.

POSITION DETAILS

The accounting and finance manager will work closely with the MD and
Board of Directors. This is a full time position (**Apply on the
